A walk down to Swanpool.

First ripe Blackberries we have seen this year! On the way down we followed the trail of teenage drink litter to their favourite spot on the bridge over a pretty stream that feeds into Swanpool. I find it hard to understand why people who have chosen to go to or sit somewhere for it's natural setting; to enjoy being there and leave their litter even bread bags that they have used to bring bread to feed the ducks and swans are left anyhow. The local rats and gulls are kept well fed. The litter problem is usually worse on the weekends as people like to picnic fast food and anything unwanted is just left as people don't seem to feel it is cool to bin stuff at all.
